Jawaani Jaaneman male lead: Saif Ali Khan is of the view that ‘Ole Ole was best left where it is’.
Going by the latest news, it seems like while everyone is loving the revamped version of Ole Ole. But Saif Ali Khan feels the song belongs to the time that has already gone.
Saif Ali Khan kickstarted the year 2020 with a bang. His first box office release of the year Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior opposite Ajay Devgn and Kajol is still going strong at the box office and is equally loved by the audiences. And apart from that, Saif Ali Khan is also getting appreciation for his upcoming film Jawaani Jaaneman along with Alaia Furniturewalla and Tabu.
Saif has been receiving praises both from fans and critics alike, not only for the fun trailer but for the funky recreating of his superhit song Ole Ole. But despite the reality that everyone is loving the revamped version of the song, Saif feels the song belongs to the time that has already gone.
As per him,
“Sometimes, you have to do what the production (team) thinks will sell or what the trend is. I feel it’s remarkable that I’ve been working for so long that I could star in the remix of my own song (smiles). In a way that was interesting, but then, I feel Ole Ole was probably best left where it is… It’s a great song for a time that has gone. To reinvent is not something I’d have liked to do, but like I said, you listen to the marketing bosses.”
Saif shared the reason why he values success over being famous,
“Fame to me is being well known for various reasons. There’s a kind of fame you have when you come from a wealthy family, but, I feel, being successful is the key. In fact, being famous has been a hindrance for me. I like getting paid and I’d like to be wealthy through my work; being famous has never been important.”
