Dharmendra, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol starrer film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’ has released in the theatres. Along with Dharmendra, Bobby Deol, and Sunny Deol, the film also features Kriti Kharbanda. This film is directed by Navaniat Singh and is the third installment of the Yamla Pagla Deewana series. Well, there is no continuity in this third installment of the Yamla Pagla Deewana franchise and so this film makes a fresh start.
Now talking more about this film, this third installment of the YPD series has been totally disappointing and it consists of a completely unorganized plot. The film is based on a brother duo, Kaala, and Pooran who have inherited the legacy of Ayurveda remedy ‘Vajrakavach’. However, the purpose and intentions of both the brothers are very different as Kaala looks out to make money out of it and Pooran on the other side is a very good-hearted person and so he uses his heritage for the betterment of people. Then the film also highlights Parmar (Dharmendra) who is a paying guest in these brothers’ house and but Kaala is very frustrated with him as he is paying the same rent of Rs 125 from the past 35 years.
In the film, Kriti Kharbanda plays the role of a Gujarati girl who steals the heart of Kaala and brings many twists in the story. However, the film is a real waste of time with a total mindless story. You need a lot of patience to tolerate such shit for the three hours and this type of a film can definitely make you regret if you take the risk of watching it. The mindless threesome of father and sons throughout the film would surely lead to pain in your ass and you would want to exit the cinema hall.
The earlier films were still better than this third installment of this Yamla Pagla Deewana series. The acting of Dharmendra not really good this time and it seemed that this film wasted the talent of such a great superstar. I mean who writes such a shitty script? The story was filled with confusion, mindless humour and god knows to which direction the film was heading to. The direction of this film could have been much better than this but what can we do when we have such a shitty script in front. Dheeraj Rattan has written the script of this film which is being immensely criticized by the Bollywood fans. Although he has written many amazing scripts before, this time he completely disappoints everyone.
The pace of this film is extremely sluggish and the most stupid part of the film was that these inexpensive herbal medicines work like magic on the patients. The story was not only confusing and shitty but also it was completely illogical. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol were such a pain to watch this time on the big screen and their fans are completely disappointed with their performances in the film. There’s only one good thing in the film and that is Kriti Kharbanda. Kriti Kharbanda looks really gorgeous in the film and only she can resist the fans from not exiting the cinema hall during this shitty film. The on-screen presence of Kriti Karbhanda as a Gujarati girl in the film can still be tolerated and you won’t be disappointed to see her on the big screen. Her on-screen presence is really appreciable in the film and you wouldn’t be able to get over her beauty after watching her in the film.
Now talking about the ratings of this film, it has been rated 1.5/5 by NDTV.com, 2.5/5 by Times Of India, 1.5/5 by Mumbai Mirror and 1/5 by scroll.in. The ratings of this film can surely act as a proof that what kind of a shitty movie Navaniat Singh has made this time. If you are still interested to watch this film, it’s completely your risk but do not forget to buy tomatoes before entering the cinema hall because I’m sure that you will definitely need them.
