Bollywood actress & diva Malaika Arora & Arjun Kapoor’s relationship has been going strong ever since the couple made it official in the year 2019. The two can be often seen sharing Instagram Stories featuring each other and showering love and praises in a public display of affection.
However, like many celebrity couples, Malaika and Arjun’s relationship too had to face the negativity of trolls when they confirmed that they were dating each other.
Malaika is over 10 years elder to Arjun and trolls called her names including ‘desperate’ and ‘buddhi (old woman)’ for dating a younger man after she divorced actor-director Arbaaz Khan.
Arora as we know is one who shies away from replying to the trolls. In an interview that year, she addressed the issue & took the trolls head-on.
The duo made their relationship Instagram-official on Arjun Kapoor’s 34th birthday.
Opening up about the age difference between Arjun & her, Malaika Arora had told HT Brunch in an earlier interview
“The age difference doesn’t really pop up when you are in a relationship. It is about two minds and hearts connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time. An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a ‘buddhi’. For people who think like this, I have just one line: Take a flying f***.”
On her son Arhaan’s reaction to her relationship with Arjun, Arora had said
“I believe the best way to approach any situation is with honesty. It’s important to tell your near and dear ones what’s happening in your life and then give them time and space to understand and process things. We have had that conversation and I am so glad that everyone is in a much happier and more honest space today.”
Malaika and Arjun are happy being together & both enjoying each other’s company to the fullest. They party together & most recently, we could see Malaika holidaying with Arjun, Saif Ali Khan & Kareena Kapoor Khan on Christmas 2020 in Dharamshala where Arjun had been shooting for ‘Bhoot Police’.
