Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah are Iron Man and Black Widow respectively when it comes to the Tamil version of Avengers: Endgame
Avengers: Endgame is set to release in all major Indian languages including Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. In 2018, news came that Rana Daggubati joined Marvel Studios as Thanos for the Telugu dubbed version of Avengers: Infinity War. And now it has been revealed that Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah have been signed up as dubbing artists for the Tamil version of Avengers: Endgame. The announcement was made during the launch of Tamil Marvel anthem that is both composed and sung by AR Rahman. Unable to get hold her of feelings, Andrea took to Instagram and shared the big news. She posted,
“Super excited to be dubbing in Tamizh for #Blackwidow in #avengersendgame.”
Meanwhile, AR Murugadoss will do the dialogue writing. In one of his interaction with media, he said,
“I have always admired the story, spectacle and scale that Marvel brings to its movies, and Avengers: Endgame is going to be one such powerhouse of a film that has the whole country excited. As a writer and a film-maker and now a fan – thanks to my son Aaditya, I am thrilled to be a part of this phenomenon which brings together a galaxy of powerful characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and more,”
Marvel Anthem’s Hindi version was released earlier this week in Mumbai. Joe Russo, one of the two directors of Avengers: Endgame arrived in India to be present at the launch event. Speaking about the anthem, Joe confessed that he heard the song for the first time on Sunday, March 31, and was left speechless. The Oscar-winning composer revealed that he did the job i.e. song composition and lyrics writing all in 10 days with the help of his son.
Avengers: Endgame will have a worldwide release on April 26, bringing an end to the 10-year-long journey of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
