Guess Which One Out Of These Will Join Varun & Sara In Coolie No.1 Remake

Coolie No.1 remake will be a reworked version of the 90s version that went by the same name and was directed by David Dhawan. The original version had Govinda and Karisma Kapoor as the lead couple.

This new 2019-20 version will feature Varun Dhawan (David Dhawan’s Son) and Sara Ali Khan as the lead couple and this time too, the flick will be helmed by David Dhawan.

Filmmakers have just made a new announcement, that they are roping in a female actress from Veere Di Wedding cast & it will be none other than Shikha Talsania. Shikha has a proven talent i.e. an impeccable comic timing (Like Father Like Daughter) and both the cast and the team members are elated to have her on board.

The Coolie No. 1 remake will be the 3rd  collaboration between the father-son duo. And Sara Ali Khan & Varun Dhawan will share the screen space for the very first time ever since they both joined the film industry. And both their fans are excited to see their chemistry on-screen.

Coolie No. 1 is bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh & is set to make a silver screen landing on May 1, 2020.

For those who want to know more about Shikha. She is an Indian actress who played ‘Meera’ in Bollywood Flick: Veere Di Wedding, joined by other prominent cast members: Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor & Swara Bhaskar. She had to compete with thousands of girls while she was auditioning for the role. She is the daughter of renowned TV & Film Actor cum Comedian: Tiku Talsania.

Currently, she is not dating anyone, happy news for those who have a crush on her.

She began her career as floor producer, line producer & manager to many celebs & has a considerable amount of theatre experience. Her debut flick was “Wake Up Sid” back in 2009, where she shared played Ranbir Kapoor’s bestie: Laxmi Inder Advani.
