Varun Dhawan Promises Indian Idol Contestant A Berth on The Singer’s Table For His Next Flick With Alia Bhatt

The trend is not new for talent being spotted on reality shows. Today we find a lot of popular singers who reserved their berth in the music industry by proving their talent on reality shows. This is a global phenomenon. This method also helps filmmakers, music producers, and music labels get something new with the same quality at a much lesser cost compared to the existing talent available in the industry. And yes this brings a considerable amount of public attention at no cost. Himesh Reshammiya used this formula recently with success after he brought Ranu Mondal onboard. In other words, get the best deal by looking outside the window. Coming back to Varun Dhawan at Indian Idol. Varun who was visiting Indian Idol to promote his movie Street Dancer 3D, told Chaturvedi that his song will be part of his next movie with Alia Bhatt.

These were Varun’s words,

“I will request Karan Johar to include the song in the next film he casts Alia and me,”

Rishabh very recently performed an original song for Alia Bhatt on Indian Idol. Alia too did her bit by congratulating this 21-year-old Amritsari boy for his gesture through a video. When Varun came to know how much Rishabh admired Alia, he even brought the dupatta Alia had worn in their movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

Helmed by Remo D’Souza, Varun Dhawan’s film Street Dancer 3D also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles with Prabhudheva, Dharmesh Yelande, Caroline Wilde, Murli Sharma, Punit Pathak, Salman Yusuff Khan, Aparshakti Khurana, Sushant Pujari, Sonam Bajwa & Raghav Juyal amongst others.

Street Dancer 3D is a sequel to ABCD2 (Any Body Can Dance). It is a dance epic that takes inspiration from the multifarious colors of dance & the unity that occurs between 2 different groups coming together to serve a single cause. The film’s backdrop is London. Street Dancer 3D shows how underdogs can stand strong against all odds.
