Urvashi Rautela Breaks Her Silence On Her ‘Inappropriate Video’ With Boney Kapoor

You must remember that viral video of Urvashi Rautela and Boney Kapoor, wherein Boney Kapoor was seen posing for the camera along with Urvashi Rautela at an event. But while greeting her, he was caught on camera tapping the actress at her backside. A lot of netizens who saw that video weren’t comfortable with that deed of Boney Kapoor, especially when he himself is a father to 3 adult females. So, that video invited a lot of comments from those netizens.

Now during an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Urvashi Rautela broke her silence and shared her side in reaction to this controversy. She said,

“It was blown out of proportion. It was nothing like that. Everywhere, the video went viral overnight. But there was nothing like that.”

Urvashi further added that she was supposed to work on a project with Boney Kapoor along with with a Tamil film with superstar Ajith, both at the same time. But the project with Boney Kapoor couldn’t materialize due to date issues.

“I knew Boney Kapoor already. But because I couldn’t do a movie with him, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a relationship with him. So, it was a great gesture. I was entering at the party, he was already there. So were just clicking pictures.”

Defending Boney Kapoor, Urvashi put the entire blame on the angle of the photography and said that is why it turned out so weird on screen. It seems that in the flow of conversation Urvashi forgot that it was their video and not pics that went viral and made it to the news.

Talking about work, Urvashi will be seen next in Pagalpanti. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, it will feature John Abraham in the male lead. She has recently done a music video: Bijli Ki Taar with Tony Kakkar, who is leading Bollywood Singer: Neha Kakkar’s younger sibling.

Meanwhile, one thing is certain that the film industry feeds on the controversy when it comes to business.
