Horror is surely one of the most exciting genres and the fans definitely love watching horror films. In the past, there have been many horror films in Bollywood which have had that element and have managed to stir up the audience in the theatres. Though it has always got the audiences interested, Bollywood hasn’t hit the mark of a perfect and an actually scary horror movie like many in Hollywood has. In spite of that, there is always an excitement to watch a horror film and the curiosity to watch such films always remain on the next level.  Well, the year 2018 has also got many amazing horror films which also includes the super hit film of Anushka Sharma named ‘Pari’. To keep up with this demand for Bollywood horror movies, there are quite a few horror films which are going to release soon. And hopefully, these would be better than what we have seen already. One of the films is ‘Stree’ also which is surely one of the most awaited horror films as of now which features Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.  1. Stree

Upcoming Bollywood Horror Films

Stree is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Amar Kaushik which features Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurrana and Pankaj Tripathi. The film would be based on a unique concept which mixes comedy and horror together. The film would involve elements of horror, comedy, and drama. This upcoming film of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor is produced by Raj Nidimoru, Dinesh Vijan, and Krishna D. K. under the banner of Maddock Films and it is going to hit the theatres very soon that is on 31st August 2018.

 2. Re Haivaan

Re Haivaan is an upcoming horror film directed by Prashast Singh which features Prashast Singh only in the lead role. The film is based on a psychopath shooter who is hired by the police in order to catch a psychopathic killer before he leaves the country. The film is going to involve elements of action and horror and is expected to release this year on 19th October.

 3. Lupt

Lupt is an upcoming Bollywood horror film directed by Prabhuraj which is going to feature Vijay Raaz and Javed Jaffrey in major roles. This film is being produced by Hanwant Khatri and Lalit Kiri under the banner of Fun Entertainments. This film of Prabhudeva is going to involve elements of horror, thrill, and drama. Vijay Raaz and Javed Jaffrey, both have always been a treat to watch on the big screen and both of them are extremely talented actors. They both have been a part of many successful films and have received immense praise and success for their versatile acting skills. Let’s see what these two actors bring up for the Bollywood fans with this horror film which is going to release on 14th September.

 4. Amavas

Amavas is an upcoming Bollywood horror film which would probably be directed by Bhushan Patel and is going to feature Nargis Fakhri in the lead role. This film ‘Amavas’ would interestingly be her first ever horror film. So now, Nargis Fakhri is definitely looking forward to making her comeback with this film named ‘Amavas’ which would be directed by Bhushan Patel and her co-star in the movie would be Sachin Joshi. The Bollywood fans are eagerly waiting for the comeback of this gorgeous actress on the big screen and let’s hope that we would soon see her appearing on the silver screen.

 5. Pyar Bhari Madhoshiyan

Pyar Bhari Madhoshiyan is a Bollywood film directed by Vinay Tiwari which features Leena Kapoor, Abhinav Patekar and Rose Laskar in the major roles. The film involves elements of horror, drama, and thrill and is based on a couple who move to their new house. Later they fall prey to a ghost and the film shows how they tackle this difficult situation. However the concept of a couple entering a new house and tackling a ghost is very old, but let’s see what this movie has got in it.
