 Dangal is like one of the most successful movies of Bollywood, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie is a sports drama film based on the real-life story of the Phogat family, the story is about Mahavir Singh Phogat an amateur wrestler who trained his daughters in the same field. The role of Mahavir Singh was played Aamir Khan he went through a lot of weight gain to resemble Mahavir Singh which was a challenge for him. The daughters’ role was played by 4 different actresses the younger version of Geeta and Babita were played by Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar and the mature version were played by Fatima Sana Sheikh (Geeta) and Suhani Malthora (Babita ).


Sultan is a sports drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, under the banner of Yash Raj films. This movie did great this year because of the brilliant acting done by Salman Khan who played the role of Sultan, he became a wrestler because of a woman (Aarfa Hussain) played by Anushka Sharma she used to help her father in the training of the wrestlers , she was herself taking hardcore training as she wanted to win in Olympics and she wanted to represent India by the time Sultan fell in love with her but she said that she will only marry a wrestler so for that reason Sultan went through some serious training  to become a wrestler .

Oh My God

Oh my god was released in 2012, it is comedy-drama film the story of the movie is based on a Gujarati stage play Kanji Virudh Kanji, the movie is directed by Umesh Shukla starring Akshay Kumar (god), Paresh Rawal(Kanji Lalji) along with Mithun Chakraborty.

Kanji Lal was an atheist, he was an owner of a shop of Hindu antiques in Mumbai he lost his shop in natural calamities earthquake, and he blamed God for this reason and filed a case against him.


PK was released in 2014 directed by Raj Kumar Hirani, starring Aamir Khan., Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput made special appearances in the movie.

This movie revolves around an alien named Pk (Aamir Khan ) he came to earth for some research mission during this  he lost his device which was the only possible device through which he could return back to his planet, during his journey he met Anushka Sharma and questions her about the various thing like superstitions and god .

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is based on a real-life story of Milkha Singh who was a great athlete who won various medals and represented India around the globe.  The movie is directed by Om Prakash Mehra. The main star of the film was Farhan  Akhtar he trained himself a lot to do justice to Milkha Singh role, his hard work didn’t waste as the movie did great at the Box office.

Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara

Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara is youth’ favorite movie,  because of the friendship that has been shown in the film between the three friends who all went on a trip together performed different adventurous sports activities there. This beautiful movie is directed by Zoya Akhtar, starring Hrithik Roshan (Arjun ), Farhan Akhtar (Imraan)and Abhay Deol (Kabir), Katrina Kaif(Laila) and Kalki Koechlin(Natasha) .

Hindi Medium

Hindi medium was released in 2017 directed by Saket Chaudhry starring Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar as the lead actors. Irfan Khan played the role of Raj Batra who  was a rich businessman and was married to Mita (Saba Qamar) they both studied in a Hindi Medium School but they both  wanted her daughter to receive the best education for which they had to undergo a lot of struggle, when they realised the parents are also interviewed they went to one of the consultants but failed to answer the questions at the interview day so the RTE quota was the only option left for them .

Rang De Basanti

Rang De Basanti was released in 2006 directed by Om Prakash Mehra starring Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kapoor, R . Madhavan, Atul Kulkarni and Alice Patten ( the British actress).

Alice Patten, she played the role of young struggling filmmaker she come across over the diary of her grandfather he was a British jailer, she learned about the five freedom fighters who gave upon their lives to set our country free  from British  rule and she wanted to make a documentary on the same for this she took help of her friend Sonia . This movie did great at the box office and was loved by everyone.

Taare Zameen Par

Taare Zameen Par was released in 2007 it is a great movie as it made the audience aware of a really serious disease called ‘ Dyslexia’.  Darsheel Safari was the actor who was chosen by the director Aamir Khan to play the role of Ishaan an 8-year-old kid was suffering from this disorder in the movie.  The title of the movie Taare Zameen Par is beautiful in its own way the name was suggested by the Salman Khan when Aamir Khan and Salman Khan they both met at the party. Aamir Khan played the role of a teacher in the movie he made Ishaan parents to change their  perspective for good to how to see their child’s disability as an ability. This movie created a great emotional connection with the audience no matter not only with kids but with the people from all the age group. it made a huge success on the box office.

Chak de India was released in 2007 is a sports film directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Aditya Chopra. It is a movie based on a fictional story , the storyline of the film was inspired by the win of the Indian hockey team at Commonwealth games , Kabir  Khan was playing the role captain of our Indian hockey team he was accused of the loss of team and that he was with the Pakistani hockey team, in order  to redeem himself from that accusation, he came back after 7 years and trained the Indian hockey team and made them win .
