Tiger Shroff Says He Wants to Make His Own Identity & Not Be Called Just…

We have observed Tiger Shroff to be polite but distant on all occasions. We have often wondered whether one can shake him even a bit. But we think, if Karan Johar gave up to make this guy ‘open up’, then no one can. Nevertheless, we know Tiger Shroff always keeps his guards on. He lives with all his aspirations and beliefs. This Baaghi rebel knows how to carry his charm. While in an Interview with DNA, Tiger Shroff said that he just doesn’t want to be – ‘Jackie Shroff Ka beta Tiger Shroff’.

When he was questioned about his father, Jackie Shroff that “How come your father’s (Jackie Shroff) ‘naughty’ side didn’t rub off on you?”, he answered,

“I am more like momma (Ayesha Shroff). My sister, Krishna is more like my dad. Dad is so bindaas. He doesn’t care about what people think. I am uptight and focussed. My father was born a star. On the other hand, I had to work hard to get out of his shadow and make my own identity. I didn’t want to just be —  Jackie Shroff ka beta.”

Tiger Shroff will next be seen in Karan Johar’s next magnum opus Student of the year 2 with two lovely debutants Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria. While in the interview, he was also asked about his experience of working with the two newcomers, he replied,

“Well, they weren’t newcomers at all. Ananya and Tara were so confident and knew so much about the craft. They were so self-aware that I didn’t feel even once they were debutantes. Both the girls were so well prepared. I must credit Punit (Malhotra) sir and Karan (Johar) sir for the way they presented them on set. They were saying their lines like a conversation and I was like, ‘Wow!’”

Student of the Year 2 is slated to release on May 10, which has been directed by Punit Malhotra and produced under the banners of Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios.
