Kashmera Shah Comments on Her Husband’s Biryani Comment: Recently, the Kapil Sharma Show comedian-actor Krushna Abhishek who plays the role of Sapna was called out by netizens for ‘objectifying wife Kashmera Shah while sharing a pic of her on his social media handle.
Kashmera has reacted to her husband Krushna’s comment calling her ‘biryani’ while sharing a photo of her in a black low-cut monokini. She said that she is unaffected & unflustered by all the trolling & negativity spread by her ‘pseudo protectors’ who found the remark objectionable.
The actor also added that Krushna is her husband & has the complete right to say whatever he wants to say about her. In an interview with Hindustan Times, she stated that she disagrees that her husband was objectifying her and told HT that
“These are the same people that called me fat and enjoyed talking about me. Now suddenly they’re taking offence to what my husband is saying about me. Look at the sentiments behind what he has said. I loved it. And all these pseudo protectors of mine can just FO. Krushna is my husband and he can say what he likes about me. I’m not shallow like these no good trollers.”
“When you have Biryani at home why will you want Dal Makhani outside?” she had said in her interview.
Krushna’s post sharing his wife Kashmera’s pic in a bold avatar was a just a celebratory post and he wanted to cheer his wife for her recent weight loss. He had also mentioned that he was ‘proud’ of her for getting back to her ‘hot self’. Social media users took offence to it & trolled the comedian-actor as they interpreted it as Krushna’s objectifying his wife.
Taking on Instagram, while sharing the image of Kashmera sporting a monokini, Krushna had captioned his post:
“When you have Biryani at home why will you want Dal Makhani outside? So proud of you kash you are back to your hot self @kashmera1 #wife #hotness #kashisback.”

“I am big fan of you,Krishna bhai. But here I am not agree with your statement regarding your life partner. At least you don’t compare your wife @kashmera1 with Biryani. How can you compare your wife with products or dishes?,” wrote a user.
“Chhi itna kharab likha hai (Yuck! It’s disgusting what you wrote),” wrote another user.
Let us tell you that Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera fell in love while shooting for the movie Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya which was released in 2017. They secretly got married in Las Vegas in 2013 and welcomed twin boys through surrogacy in 2017.
When she was asked as to how their families reacted to your decision of going for surrogacy, Kashmera said:
Krushna told his family and they didn’t support. I don’t know what they were thinking. I told my family just a month before kids were born and I had to explain to them what surrogacy was. They read up about it and they said it’s your kid, obviously we are excited.
