This is What Kangana Said About Groupism & Gangism In South Film Industry

Film ‘Thalaivi’ trailer launch was a much-awaited event. Kangana said that there may be nepotism in the South Indian film industry, however, there is no bullying of outsiders. Ranaut was speaking at the trailer launch of her trilingual movie in Chennai on Tuesday afternoon. The movie will be releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi across cinemas on 23rd April.



Talking about the same, the actress said:

“Since Thalaivi is the culmination of many industries, one thing that I have noticed in the South film industries–be it Tamil or Telugu–is that there may be nepotism in the South film industry but there is no groupism and gangism. There’s no subjecting outsiders to bullying.”

Ranaut further lauded the South film industry & said:

“They are very supportive and inclusive of people who come from outside. And the kind of love and encouragement I have experienced here, I don’t want to leave. I’m here now. I hope to do many more films here.”

On Tuesday was her 34th birthday. Ranaut had launched the trailer of her movie ‘Thalaivi’, a biopic that is based on the life of late politician J. Jayalalitha who changed the face of politics in the Tamil Nadu state. The film has been helmed by AL Vijay.

Thalaivi is not the only film that she has in the pipeline but also two other films Dhaakad and Tejas are lined up for release. In the latter, she will be seen playing the role of Indian Air Force Pilot. Ranaut has been extensively shooting for the movie in Mumbai, Delhi & Rajasthan. Now, on the occasion of her birthday, the makers of Tejas had revealed a new still from the movie, much to the excitement of the fans. In the pic, she can be seen in IAF uniform.
