Actor Abhishek Bachchan’s film ‘The Big Bull’ has been inspired by true events of the Harshad Mehta scam which was released on OTT on April 8.
The B-town star got mixed reviews from audience & critics alike with many comparing ‘The Big Bull’ to Hansal Mehta’s directorial web series ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ & Abhsishek Bachchan’s performance to that of Pratik Gandhi, the ‘Dhoom’ star has now responded to a Twitter user who described his “so-called acting” in film The Big Bull as “third rate.”
Bachchan Jr. is known for his witty comebacks & sane yet sometimes even funny replies to critics online. This time Abhishek took the criticism head-on & replied in the most gentle way he could.
On Thursday, when a Twitterati tweeted:
“As usual @juniorbachchan doesn’t disappoint you with his 3rd rate so called acting in a poorly scripted & badly filmed #TheBigBull. @pratikg80 & #Scam1992 are far superior by miles.”
“Hey man, as long as I’ve not disappointed you, I’m happy. Thank you for taking the time out to see our film.” He followed up his reply with a folded hand emoji.
Let us tell you that this isn’t the first time Abhishek Bachchan has been compared to Pratik Gandhi for his film ‘The Big Bull’ or the film with Hansal’s web series.
Earlier, when ‘The Big Bull’ trailer got released, netizens made the same comparisons.
During that time, Hansal Mehta had taken to Twitter to react to these comparisons and tweeted
“Please don’t make unfair comparisons. There can be multiple tales on the same story. Every storyteller will have his own way and should be seen independent of the other. This film has so many talents involved just like my show. They’ve done their best and they deserve your love.”
“And very intriguing trailer with such phenomenal actors. You are in great form @juniorbachchan. More power to the entire team of #TheBigBull on @DisneyPlusHS,” he added.
