This is HOW Ajay Devgn Reacted To ‘Doppelganger’ Being Misidentified As HIM In ‘Delhi Brawl Video’

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn On Monday gave clarification to people about the claims that he was involved in the viral Delhi brawl video where a man could be seen fighting outside a pub who has been misidentified for him over social media.

Ajay Devgn took to his official Twitter account to shut down all the rumors and wrote

“Some ‘doppelganger’ of mine seems to have got into trouble.” “I’ve been getting concerned calls. Just clarifying, I’ve not traveled anywhere. All reports regarding me being in any brawl are baseless. Happy Holi.”

Earlier, his team had also issued a statement on social media to clarify that the video being circulated of a man involved in a Delhi brawl was not him.

In the viral video, we can see two men fighting outside a pub and using obscene language.

The statement read as:

“Post the promotion of Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior in January 2020, Ajay Devgn has not visited Delhi. So media reports of a brawl involving the superstar outside a Delhi pub are absolutely baseless and untrue.”

The statement continued with the following words:

“We request news agencies and media picking this up to please note that Mr Devgn has been in Mumbai the entire time shooting for Maidaan, MayDay and Gangubai Kathiawadi and he hasn`t set foot in the Capital in 14 months. Request all media to please cross-check before putting out anything.”

The video in question had been shared by a Twitter user with a caption stating

“Not really sure if this is #ajaydevgan or not but #Kisanektamorcha agitation seems to be spreading up. Social media floating with this video that drunk @ajaydevgn got beaten up?? #RakeshTikait”.

Coming to the work front, Devgn will next be seen making a special appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi where he will be reprising his role as DCP Bajirao Singham. The movie is releasing on April 30, 2021.
