Taapsee Pannu recently paid a visit to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio show to have a chat with her. And finding a comfortable atmosphere she spoke her heart out about films, her career and more. Taapsee at present is at a career-high as the looks of two of her films, Shabaash Mithu, a biopic on former cricket captain for Women’s Cricket Team and Thappad, helmed by Anubhav Sinha, based on her character’s fight against domestic violence went public.

Opening her heart in the chat show with Kareena, Taapsee revealed one of her long kept secret that she is scared of rejecting films with A-listers as one doesn’t know how they may perceive it.

“It can be unsafe. Actually, the fear of rejecting a film opposite a star is that they might perceive it wrongly. If they are a very big star, they should not think that I have turned it down because I have something personal against them. Once or twice in the past, just to be ‘safe, after I turned a film down, I went out of my way to tell the person the reason behind it. The ones who were accessible, that is. The ones who were not accessible, I have no idea how they perceived it because I never got a chance to find out.”

Talking about her upcoming films, Taapsee and Pavail Gulati starrer Thappad is all set to make a box office debut on February 28, 2020. The film’s trailer was released yesterday and received positive feedback from both critics as well as the audiences.
