Taapsee Pannu’s classy response to her being called a ‘female Ayushmann Khurrana‘ will for sure win your heart.

Taapsee Pannu who has become one of the most sought after actresses of Bollywood was not only appreciated for her beauty but also for her distinctive film choices.  She had an appropriate reply when she was called ‘the female Ayushmann Khurrana’ after she won a Filmfare Award in Assam for her performance in Saand Ki Aankh.

When producer Tanujj Garg tweeted,

“Congrats to the powerhouse @taapsee, humaare #Bollywood ki female Ayushmann Khurrana.”

Taapsee was quick to respond and tweeted,

“What about calling me bollywood ki pehli Taapsee Pannu?”

After seeing Taapsee’s response, very Tanujj quickly replied,

“Woh toh ho hi! Inimitable, singular, distinctive!”

A lot of Bollywood fans have appreciated Taapsee for her classy response. One user even wrote,

Taapsee delivered a memorable performance in Saand Ki Aankh. She was awarded the Filmfare award in sharing with her Saand Ki Aankh co-star Bhumi Pednekar. Congratulating Taapsee, Bhumi tweeted,

“My dearest @taapsee. From day 1 of reading to this moment, we have been arm in arm. Thank you for being the best Prakashi to my Chandro. To our undying sisterhood my bebe #BebeAndJiji forever.”

Talking about Taapsee’s upcoming projects. Her fans will very soon get to see her in director Anubhav Sinha’s film Thappad, which, ever since its trailer release has been getting positive responses from the audiences for the sensitive yet relevant subject they are dealing with and Taapsee’s potentially firecracker of a performance. The film is all set to be released on February 28.

Thappad even got appreciation from Union Minister: Smriti Irani. All this despite the fact both Smriti Irani and Thappad director: Anubhav Sinha are on different platforms when it comes to views.
