In the beginning of the year 2019, Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to have four box releases. But things changed all of a sudden and his next outing at the silver screen i.e. Dil Bechara has been pushed to an early 2020 release. Dil Bechara is an official Bollywood version of the Hollywood blockbuster The Fault In Our Stars. Helmed by Mukesh Chhabra, this will be the debut movie of Sanjana Sanghi. She will play the love interest of Sushant.
Talking about Sushant Singh Rajput, year 2019 has turned out to be a roller coaster when it comes to his movies. His 1st flick was Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiriya which was well-received by the critics but underperformed at the box office. His 2nd release was Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore that was a box office success. And last but not the least, his Dharma Productions: Drive that released directly on Netflix was heavily panned by one & all.
Sushant was supposed to conclude the year 2019 with the much-awaited movie that was supposed to hit the screens on November 29. But unfortunately its release has been postponed and as per sources the delay is due to post-production taking longer than expected. Reliable sources confirmed the news with words,
“Dil Bechara will not release on November 29 anymore. There have been last-minute changes and the team needs a little more time for the post-production of the film. So, the team has collectively decided to shift the movie to an early 2020 date instead. An official announcement regarding the new release date will be officially made soon.”
Their were rumors doing the rounds that the studio backing the movie was planning to release the movie directly on an OTT platform. But another source close to the development has put the news to rest & stated that there’s no truth to it whatsoever & the movie will definitely be a box office release.
