Hrithik Roshan is currently enjoying the success of his latest release Super 30, which has him portraying a character inspired by real-life mathematical genius Anand Kumar. Apart from earning him rave reviews for his performance as the Bihari teacher, the film is earning well at the box-office.
Even as Super 30 is still running in theatres, the teaser of his next, War, an action-entertainer, is out and the light-eyed actor’s beefed-up look has gone viral.
Below Hrithik Roshan talks about the tough times he had while doing Super 30. Like film’s director being dragged to court and release date change and how all these hard times have made him enjoy the Super 30 success more.
- Is Super 30 success any different for you than your other films?
Super 30 success takes me back to the time when Kaho Na Pyaar Hai was released. The emotions are similar to what I had felt back then.
- Did you feel disheartened at any point?
Facing all those tough times and dealing with them face to face was a wise decision. All that brought us where we are today. To be precise, All’s well that ends well.
- What was your experience while shooting for the film?
Shooting for Super 30 has been hardest challenges that I have faced in my career till date, as it was my first biopic and to capture the soul of Anand Kumar and project it on the silver screen was a tough task.
After this, WAR, an action-entertainer is your next, which will show you in a beefed-up avatar.
- How do plan to prepare yourself physically for the role?
Super 30 allowed me to compromise on my fitness schedule. But with WAR, all that took a total stop and I was required to push myself beyond my limits to get back into shape for this beefed-up character. Months of hard work and sacrifice will be needed for sure to do justice to the role.
- Please share your experience while working with Tiger Shroff?
I had a time worth remembering while working with Tiger. I am short of words to describe that experience. His talent is something that can’t be defined with words.
