The film is based on a tailor who lives in Chanderi. Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) is the name of this tailor and he is very famous in the whole Chanderi for his amazing work. This man won’t even need measuring tapes to take the size of his clients and he seems to be a good and a  gifted tailor. Not only this, but this talented tailor is also known as the Manish Malhotra of Chanderi. Rajkummar Rao completely fits in the role and his on-screen presence gained applauds from the audiences.

The story takes a turn when Stree enters the town. Beware because she’s a witch who targets men at night during the time of a four day annual festival of Hindus. It is said that the witch whisks away the men of Chanderi and leaves behind their clothes. The situation is very tensed in the city but don’t worry because there is also a solution to get away with this witch. Well, the one and only solution for the men of Chanderi to remain safe is to scribble the message ‘O Stree Kal Aana’ on the walls of their homes. Well not only this, but they also say that if by chance she tries to cross your path, you shouldn’t turn back if she calls you from behind.

The story seems really interesting and it turns even more interesting when Rajkummar Rao comes across a mysterious girl (Shraddha Kapoor) and falls for her at the very first sight. The film will take you to an amazing ride filled with romance, drama, comedy, thrill, and suspense. As the time passes and many events occur, Vicky is able to figure out who Stree is. Well, if you are thinking it’s Shraddha Kapoor, then you are completely right. Shraddha Kapoor turns out to be Stree as this girl visits Chanderi every year but only during these four days.

Stree Movie Review

Even the acting of other stars like Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurrana was just commendable in the film. Both Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee act as Vicky’s best friends in the film and their trio is really being loved by the fans. The acting of Pankaj Tripathi has also been amazing and his comedy punches will definitely make you laugh your hearts out. The concept of mixing horror with comedy is really being loved by the Bollywood fans and so this film of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor is surely worth watching.
