The debate of nepotism, which started with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, has come through factionalism, classics and drugs. Actress Kangana Ranaut sometimes compares Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and sometimes accuses many Bollywood stars of taking drugs. The matter seems to be growing after the statements of Ravi Kishan & Jaya Bachchan in the Parliament regarding the drug connection of Bollywood. Now actress Urmila Matondkar targeted Kangana Ranaut and said that she should stop playing the ‘Victim Card’.
Talking to a web channel, the ‘Rangeela Girl’ said that Kangana is unnecessarily playing Victim and advised Kangana that if she wants to fight the problem of drugs then first of all she should start with her home state Himachal Pradesh.
“The entire country is facing the menace of drugs. Does she (Kangana) know Himachal is the origin of drugs? She should start from her own state,”
Urmila told this to Mumbai Tak.
She also said:
“Why did this person who has been given Y-security from the taxpayers’ money didn’t give information about the drug nexus to the police?”
She further said:
“There’s no of doubt that Mumbai belongs to everyone. Whoever has loved the city and has given back to the city, it belongs to them As a daughter of the city, I will never tolerate any defamatory remark against it. When you make such comments you are not only insulting the city, but people of the state at large,”
Kangana had compared the Mumbai City to Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) in her comments which had triggered a spat between her & Maharashtra’s ruling party Shiv Sena.
Urmila Matondkar, who contested the 2019 elections from Mumbai North constituency on a Congress ticket, also said that just because one person keeps shouting all the time doesn’t mean the person is speaking the truth. She criticised Kangana for cribbing all the time & playing the victim card as well as the woman card.
