1. Surya ki Gang
Akshay Kumar’s Special 26 was an instant super-hit that was remade in Tamil and came to be known as Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. The movie also has stark similarities to Ajay Devgn’s Raid and features Suriya in the lead role along with Ramya Krishnan, Karthik and Suresh Chandra Menon in pivotal roles. The Hindi dubbed version, Surya Ki Gang will premiere on Saturday, 3rd November at 9pm only on Zee Cinema
2. Shankar Dada MBBS
Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi’s hilarious Munna Bhai MBBS was remade in Telugu as Shankar Dada MBBS. The movie featured Chiranjeevi and Srikanth in lead roles.
3. Unnapol Oruvan
Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher’s A Wednesday was simultaneously shot in Telugu as Eeenadu and remade in Tamil as Unnapol Oruvan and featured Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal.
4. Gabbar Singh
Gabbar Singh was a remake of the Salman Khan blockbuster Dabangg and featured Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan in the lead.
5. Manithan
Arshad Warsi’s surprise hit Jolly LLB was remade in Tamil as Manithan and featured Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hansika Motwani, Radha Ravi, Prakash Raj, and Vivek in prominent roles.
