Bollywood Samaritan: Sonu Sood came to the rescue of ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ actor Surendra Rajan and promised to help him get back home.
Meanwhile, Surendra revealed that he is still in touch with Sanjay Dutt, whom he treats like a son.
As we all know that Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly both for migrant workers and the less privileged who are hit hard by the nationwide coronavirus lockdown amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Now, the actor has come to the rescue of his R… Rajkumar co-star Surendra Rajan, more popularly known for his role in Munna Bhai MBBS. Surendra had arrived in Mumbai back in March to film a web series and has been stranded in the city since then.
Incoming reports reveal that as soon as Sonu came to know about Surendra’s plight, he immediately offered his support and made a promise to Surendra that he’d send the Munna Bhai MBBS actor back to his hometown of Satna before June 18th.
Talking about the same, Surendra said,
“Sonu Sood’s work is amazing and I am surprised that a man is working like this. One cannot do this unless he has a tremendous will to help people from within. He is doing extraordinary work and people like Sonu Sood are rare.”
Surendra further disclosed that he is still in touch with Sanjay Dutt, whom he treats like a son. But did not ask for his help, as he did not want to rely on anyone.
“I could have asked him for help but I did not want to rely on anyone. One of my disciples paid Rs 45,000 for three months. I also got help from the RSS as they gave me ration.”
Sanjay Dutt’s silence is unexpected, as he belongs to a family of actors. Both his parents: Sunil and Nargis Dutt were well-known names in the film industry. Also, he has been in the film industry for a much longer period when compared to Sonu Sood. And he is still getting a good amount of work from the Indian film industry.
