Sidharth Malhotra very recently extended support to background dancers of Bollywood. In return, these dancers thanked the actor in their own way with a music video – a compilation of them dancing at their homes to most of his movie’s songs.

These background dancers created a mix of Sidharth Malhotra’s songs like ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ and ‘Khadke Glassy’. For the unaware, Sidharth had directly transferred funds into the personal accounts of each background dancer in need.

Have a look at dedicated to Sidharth:

The COVID-19 lockdown that began in March end has affected work all across the globe and thus pay for various people who went on a day-to-day job was also affected. Work on Sidharth’s movies was also affected owing to the lockdown situation. His flick, the 2019 Tamil hit ‘Thadam’, was supposed to go on floors in May but that too has been delayed.

Like most Bollywood celebs: Sidharth too is awaiting the release of his movies like one where he is paired with Kiara Advani. Titled ‘Shershaah’, the film is a biopic on Kargil hero Vikram Batra. The actor has also reportedly been roped in for Indra Kumar’s upcoming flick with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.

Mumbai houses the film city and Maharashtra govt. has given basic level permission to resume work on shooting schedules, provided all the govt. mandated COVID-19 guidelines are met, a move that has been welcomed by all the filmmakers.

And in the coming time, movies that have post-production work left will be lining up for release. But it will be a while for theatre releases. Most flicks will have to go for an OTT release as the situation is clearly not good enough to open theatres, without inviting risk.
