As we all know that there has been a debate over the face of makeup brands and it seems like Sidharth Malhotra is the one who has taken the responsibility on his shoulders.
It has been suggested by Sidharth Malhotra that he really liked the ‘tongu-in-cheek’ philosophy of the brand and is also quite impressed with the ‘cruelty-free philosophy also. Which is the reason why he thought that it is the right time to step-in this thing because this brand is really voicing a great phrase in the world and they need a celebrity backing for it as it is ‘Guilt-Free Glamour’ which one of the many aspects of the brand which is shown in the campaign?
We all know that a campaign is going on by the name ‘#TestedOnSid’ on social media platforms and people seems to enjoy this approach by the brand a lot as we all know that there are a lot of reports and revelations that a lot of animals are hurt in the make-up building and which is why this slogan is making a lot of hype on the internet.
The actor Sidharth Malhotra has also voiced out on this topic and stated a lot of things about this and by his comments we can clearly see that he is really into the thing which he is doing and also he have total confidence in the doings of the brand and also have confidence in this campaign that something will surely change int his world as he stated that,
“I first thought I had heard wrong when a makeup brand wanted to feature me in their campaign. I mean, it’s one thing to be a metrosexual man, but makeup? Really? Then I saw the premise, which is #TestedOnSID, and signed up as a willing guinea pig because I’d any day sign up for a product that is not tested on animals. I think the colors represent today’s young ladies: confident, strong, self-assured, and unafraid to express themselves. I hope their men clear the ‘test’ with flying colors.”
Also, some words have been said by Malaika Mahtaney, who is the Chief Marketing Officer of MyGlamm on the involvement of Sid in this campaign because of which it is getting a lot of hype and attention as she stated that,
“We’re excited about featuring a male star as the face of the campaign as a way of conveying that while our products are not tested on animals, they may, more often than not, be ‘tested’ on coveted men.”
Well, we really hope that this campaign will bring some changes in this world and also more companies from the glamour world will go in this direction and also we have to applaud Sidharth Malhotra for this amazing step as he became the first actor to endorse a make-up brand of the female.
