Just yesterday, it was announced that Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria will be featuring in a music video titled ‘Masakali 2.0’. Yes, it is the recreated version of the 2009 Bollywood movie: Delhi 6 song that originally featured Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam K Ahuja. Now, the teaser for the music video is out and it gives us a glimpse into Sidharth and Tara’s sizzling on-screen chemistry. Additionally, it will also give major Marjaavaan vibes which was their first box office appearance together.

Talking more about the teaser. It debuts with the love struck couple stuck inside a house. They could be seen both dancing and showering their onscreen love on each other too. Sidharth and Tara do make for an awesome romantic couple and the teaser will make you excited for the music video too. ‘Masakali 2.0’ is set to be unveiled on Apr 8, 2020, and its makers have made promise of a visual treat amidst the ongoing nationwide coronavirus lockdown.

The song is voiced by the Duo: Tulsi Kumar and Sachet Tandon and the music is recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. The original track was composed by AR Rahman and its original lyrics were written by Prasoon Joshi.

Sometime back during a media interaction, talking about the music video, Sidharth told Mumbai Mirror,

“We have unintentionally made a song revolving around two people cooped up indoors and still doing a lot of masti.”

Whilst Tara Sutaria shared,

“It was a breeze. It’s such a catchy song despite being a mid tempo tune. Bhushanji and Tanishk have reimagined the 2.0 version beautifully while Tulsi and Sachet have given it a fun, sexy spin, which I love.”
