Here’s How Shahrukh And Salman Khan Greeted Their Fans On Eid

Yesterday, the globe celebrated Eid-Ul-Adha. And on this eve, Bollywood celebs: Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Richa Chadha and Sidharth Malhotra wished their fans a very Happy Eid in their own way.

Alike Amitabh Bachchan’s Sunday habit, Shah Rukh Khan stepped out of his house, Mannat, at Bandra to wave to fans and greet them on the occasion of Bakrid. He was dressed in casuals and waved to his fans, who had thronged the streets outside his house just to catch a glimpse of him.

For those who weren’t able to pay a visit to Mannat, SRK tweeted,

“May today and every day hereafter bring peace of mind, patience in our hearts, prosperity in our actions and prayers of thankfulness for the gifts that we have. May you all be loving and loved all your lives. Eid Mubarak to everyone.”

Salman had his own way. He took to social media to extend his warm wishes to his fans and followers. His tweet read, “On this Eid, sending my best wishes to everyone. Have a blessed Eid Ul Adha! #EidMubarak.”

This was the talk of Khans, coming to other Bollywood celebs, Richa Chadha and Sidharth Malhotra. They too used social media to convey their wishes.

Richa tweeted, “Eid Mubarak to all! Let there be love and light.” She also greeted fans for the auspicious day by sharing a photo on an Instagram story wherein she looked beautiful flaunting a pink and blue dupatta.

And Sidharth tweeted, “#EidMubarak guys! May this blessed occasion fill our hearts with peace and happiness, forever. Love & Respect”

Talking about Bakrid, it is a festival when Muslims, sacrifice an animal of their liking as proof of their devotion and love for Allah. And the sacrifice is distributed among family, friends, neighbors and especially to the poor and the needy.

Other than preparing the feast, people visit mosques, offer prayers, exchange gifts, meet and greet their loved ones and together enjoy several delicacies that are prepared on the occasion.
