Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif starrer Zero has been one of the much-anticipated movies of the year ever since the news of Shah Rukh playing a dwarf has come out. Last month, the first posters of the movie released and then the trailer, both of which sure left the netizens wanting for more. In the trailer, Salman Khan’s cameo in a song was teased and it did not just bring the two stars together on-screen but also brought the two fan clubs together.
Last week, the super hit song, Issaqbaazi released and it has already topped the chartbusters list. With close to 30 million views on the video, the song took no time to break the internet and anything that features Salman and Shah Rukh Khan together is bound to trend like this one is.
In the song, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh have worn a red gamcha which apparently they have also kept as a souvenir from the song, as a token of memory. The character, SRK is playing is from Meerut and this perfectly suits Bauua. Their camaraderie is apparent in the song and it looks like the two had great fun shooting it. The song is composed by Ajay and Atul who have created phenomenal music for the movie, either with this song or with Mere Naam Tu. Singers, Sukhvinder Singh, and Divya Kumar have added the necessary magic to the song with their melodious voices.
During the trailer launch of the movie, Shah Rukh talked about how it was working with Salman Khan and how he came to be a part of the movie. He said,
“Anand (L. Rai, Director) has spoken to Katrina (Kaif) regarding this film quite sometimes ago and that time Salman also heard the story.
Then Salman called and said that there was this story and hear it. The coincidence is that, when finally, I said yes to the film, after that he said that I will be a part of this film for sure, by doing a song. That was very dignified and loving of him.
He really wanted to be in the film. Aur Salman bohot hi pyara insaan hai yaar.”
After an undercurrent of enmity flowing between the two for years, it is good to see them bury the hatchet and be friends that they were. Salman and Shah Rukh have worked together in several films like Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai being the most popular of them all. Earlier, Shah Rukh cameo’d in Salman’s Tubelight and now, Salman featured in a fun song with Shah Rukh in this movie.
The movie is directed by Anand L. Rai and is bankrolled by Gauri Khan under Shah Rukh’s home production, Red Chillies Entertainment. The movie is all set to hit the theatres just before Christmas on 21st December and as the trailer speaks, the movie will be a huge hit.
