An Insight Into Shah Rukh Khan’s Character in Ranbir-Alia & Big B’s ‘Brahmastra’

If the reports are to be believed then as expected Shah Rukh Khan has been given a very interesting role in Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’.

Sometime back this year, Karan Johar had confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan indeed has a cameo appearance in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. King Khan shot for the film at a popular studio in Mumbai and his fans are excited to see him on the big screen after a two-year-long sabbatical irrespective of it being a special cameo. Karan was all praises for Shah Rukh and couldn’t thank him enough to star in Brahmastra.

On the other hand, Pinkvilla has revealed SRK’s role in Brahmastra. A source revealed to the entertainment portal,

“Brahmastra is designed in such a way that each of these actors play a key role in the narrative. Ranbir’s character meets each of them at different times of his quest to find the Brahmastra. While Nagarjuna plays an archaeologist, SRK essays the role of a scientist.”

This inside source further revealed,

“Nagarjuna, Shah Rukh and Dimple Kapadia are all aids to Ranbir’s character at specific points in the plot and push the story ahead. All of them have clues leading Ranbir to the Brahmastra. The film opens with Shah Rukh’s sequence. It’s a long scene and SRK shot it over ten days at Film City earlier this year.”

When it comes to Brahmastra’s supporting cast. It also stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The entire team has extensively shot for the film in the past two years. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is also one of the leading stars along with Ranbir and Alia.

The fantasy drama is set to be a trilogy and the 1st installment will be released on December 4, 2020.
