After Barack Obama made mention of Shah Rukh starrer DDLJ in his maiden visit to India, POTUS Donald Trump walked the same track.
The mention of DDLJ, along with SRK made his fans go into a frenzy and also took us back into time when former US President Barack Obama visited India in 2015. Trump was addressing the crowd at the stadium in Ahmedabad and brought up DDLJ while mentioning about the ‘classic films’ that the Indian film industry has given the world.
US President Donald Trump’s visit to India has been one of the most hyped about events when it comes to these past few weeks. The US President accompanied by his wife aka first lady Melania Trump and daughter Ivanka Trump landed in India on 24th Feb for their two-day trip and Trump taking the stage today at Motera Stadium, the world’s largest stadium, on day 1 spoke about superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s hit film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
DDLJ factory aka Yash Raj Films immediately reacted to Trump’s speech by tweeting about the same.

In a similar manner, Barack Obama in 2015 had captivated the crowds at Siri Fort auditorium in New Delhi with
“Badi badi deshon mein… you know what I mean.” Obama began his speech on that visit with, “Senorita… badi badi deshon mein… you know what I mean…” to which the audiences had responded with deafening applause.
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, was a Yash Raj Films production also featuring Kajol, released more than 20 years ago in 1994 and made Shah Rukh Khan a superstar, first in India and then off-shore. It is a film that, as per Shah Rukh,
“Whatever I will stand for as an actor, in the whole of my career, whenever it ends, it will start with and end at Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.”
