We all are very well aware of the fact that Bollywood Citizen cum Samaritan: Sonu Sood has been on the frontline when it comes to making arrangements for migrants to reach their home during these Coronavirus times. He is leaving no stone unturned to make sure his efforts reap fruits.

Sonu Sood is using social media exhaustively especially his Twitter account to help him communicate with the needy. But as usual, some people want to have fun even with the things that are too serious to be made fun of.

In one such incident, a Twitter user requested Sonu Sood to take him to Bihar where his girlfriend resides. And Sonu Sood didn’t take an offense and gave a reply that will leave you in splits. Sonu is making sure to have a lighter moment on his social media pages too. Just a few days ago, someone asked Sonu for a ride to the liquor shop.

“@SonuSood भैया, एक बार गर्लफ़्रेंड से ही मिलवा दीजिए.. बिहार ही जाना है #SonuSood” (Brother, let me meet my girlfriend once. Have to go till Bihar).

To which the actor replied,

“थोड़े दिन दूर रह के देख ले भाई .. सच्चे प्यार की परीक्षा भी हो जाएगी।” (Stay away for a few days and see brother… True love will also be tested.)


Sonu’s efforts have earned him appreciation from Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, who complimented Sonu by tweeting,

“Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari called up actor, filmstar @SonuSood and complimented him for his dedicated work in facilitating the safe transportation of migrant people from various states to their home states.”

To which Sonu replied,

“Thank u so much, sir. Your words inspire me to work harder. Will continue working for the migrant brothers and sisters till we unite them with their families. Honoured.”

This Happy New Year actor has also launched a toll-free number to help migrants reach their homes.
