Sara Ali Khan, Daughter of stars Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan has become everyone’s sweetheart after her debut in the Film industry last year. Sara Ali Khan made her debut with two blockbuster films; Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Simmba against Ranveer Singh but the audience is not only impressed with her acting skills but also with her candid personality. After giving two back to back hits, Sara has just shaken the grounds of Bollywood for good and became the talk of the town. Seeing her success her parents are really happy.
Sara has been seen in many of the interviews and shows after her films released. In one of the interviews, she also unveiled what she thinks about working with her parents Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan.
When Sara was asked regarding working with her mother Amrita Singh, who made her debut in 1983 in Betaab against Sunny Deol. She said that she does not really think that she (Amrita) will work with her. She replied
“what fun” and added, “Even though I don’t think she will work with me.”
“I don’t think that she will work with me. I think my father might, but I don’t think she will. Because she will be looking at me in a shot and be like eyebrow…dab.. because she is mom. So I think it will be the worst thing for her to work with me and probably the best thing for me to work with her. She won’t do it.” she said.
When asked about her thoughts on working with her father, she replied that she is really looking forward to share screen space with her Abba but it should be something special, not just for the sake of doing. She said,
“I’d love to do a film with Abba. But, the film and our characters must justify our presence. We can’t do a film for doing’s sake.” while there are some rumors are circulated in the industry that Sara and her father Saif will be seen together in Sara’s next project “Love Aaj Kal 2”, which is the sequel of Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Love Aj Kal’. Though Saif had refused the rumors and said, “it’s not at all true.”
As she is really close to her parents and love both of them equally, when asked about what she really feels about her parents’ separation in an interview with Famously Filmfare, she replied,
“It is not nice to live in a home where people are not happy. They are both, happy, bindaas and cool people, but individually. Together, they are not. And I think they too realised that. Fortunately, now I have two happy and secure homes to myself instead of one,”
On the work front, after the magnum opus of her film Simmba, Sara is yet to sign her next project and enjoying her success and stardom nowadays. The actress is said to be flooded with projects and every filmmaker wants to work with her, but nothing confirmed has been announced.
