Sanjay Had a 3 Hour Long Conversation With Police in Sushant Suicide Case

Famed Bollywood Director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, revealed a lot of details in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case in a questioning session with Mumbai police that lasted 3 hours. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was paying a visit to record his statement with Mumbai police in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali was summoned by the Mumbai Police this Monday and was questioned in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. According to Sanjay, he has not spoken to Sushant since 2016 and as he was also not close to the late actor, Sanjay also said that he wasn’t aware of Sushant’s depression issues.

Sources revealed that when Sanjay was asked about Sushant’s involvement with two of his films Bajirao Mastani and Ram Leela, he said that Sushant was interested in Yash Raj Films Paani, that was being directed by Shekhar Kapur at that point of time.

Sanjay also revealed that Sushant refused to work on the two big-budget films and also laid stress on the fact that he never “dropped” Sushant out of any of his films. As per sources, the revered filmmaker was questioned by the authorities in a 3-hour long session at Bandra Police Station and later for one hour by Zone 9 DCP Abhishek Trimuke at Santacruz Police Station in Mumbai.

To date, Mumbai Police has recorded statements of around 29 people who were associated with the late actor including his close friends Rhea Chakraborty, Mahesh Shetty, and producer Sandip Ssingh. His family members, domestic help, director Mukesh Chhabra, his co-actor Sanjana Sanghi from his last film Dil Bechara, and his manager were all also summoned for questioning.

Talking about this investigation. It was Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh who had asked for an investigation into Sushant’s unexpected demise and had stated that the “professional rivalry” angle will also be probed. Incoming reports state that Paani director Shekhar Kapur will be the next one, he will be asked to come and record his statement in the coming few days.
