Sanjay Dutt as Balraj Chaudhary to Play an Antagonist in Kalank?

While watching the Kalank trailer, there are some moments that will put in your mind an idea that Sanjay Dutt is portraying the role of an antagonist in the movie.

Kalank, that has a star cast inclusive of both millennial and veteran performers like Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, and Aditya Roy Kapur, is a much-awaited one when it comes to movies that are scheduled for an April release.

Sanjay Dutt is prepared in advance for the response from his fans after his upcoming ‘Kalank’ hits screens tomorrow. This is because the Kalank’s trailer has already revealed his intense and gritty character in the film. And after that trailer being launched in the past and the full movie coming tomorrow, his fans will definitely be looking the movie with much seriousness to decide whether he plays an antagonist in it or not.

Sanjay has an established record of playing negative roles with ease and everlasting impressions in a lot of films to date like Agneepath, Vaastav, Khalnayak and many more. Repeating the past, he is once again playing a powerful and influential man in the upcoming period drama Kalank. Known for his fewer words and a strong and impactful character, his intense dialogue delivery that was revealed in the trailer has been similar to his past performances which left a lasting impact on the audience.

In the trailer, he could be seen threatening Zafar (Varun Dhawan) to stay away from Roop (Alia Bhatt) and Dev (Aditya Roy Kapoor). He could also be seen hitting Zafar, giving a strong impression that he has been cast against the male lead in the film and hence he is that antagonist. Watch the trailer once more to be sure:

Sanjay carries with him a personality that is both confident and suave. His aura is such that it leaves everyone impressed around him. He has loaned the same aura to Balraj Chaudhary (His character in Kalank) with absolute perfection. He can be seen with a grim look on his face, holding a cigar in his hands with that class that he holds in the film.

His upcoming Panipat will cast him as Shamshera, another antagonist.
