Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan REUNITING For This Movie?

Yes, you’ve heard that right,  Salman Khan & Shah Rukh Khan will be reuniting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next movie which according to the sources will be the remake of Meena Kumari’s Baiju Bawra.

After Padmavati was released, a lot was written and said about the new project that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has on his calendar. The new project was touted to be a love story. It’s not been a long time since it was confirmed that SLB has reunited with the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor Salman Khan for the same movie.  According to the reports, SLB is also planning to cast Shah Rukh Khan in this untitled movie. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, there have been rumours that Priyanka being would be cast opposite Salman Khan.

According to the latest development by Bollywood Hungama, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has registered 3 titles for Meena Kumari’s 1952 cult classic Baiju Bawra. The remake is said to be the one in which the filmmaker has planned to rope in Shah Rukh Khan with Salman Khan.

The three titles which have been registered by SLB are — Baijnath, Baiju, and Baiju Tansen. If the news is anywhere close to what the truth is, then we are sure it is gonna be a delight for the fans of Salman-Shah Rukh Khan. The original Baiju Bawra film was directed by Vijay Bhatt & it was because of this movie that Meena Kumari won the first-ever Best actress Filmfare award in the year 1954.

Talking about the work front, Salman Khan has recently wrapped up the shoot of Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming movie Bharat, which is all set for release on Eid this year. He has reunited with the Tiger Zinda Hai co-star Katrina Kaif for the movie. Shah Rukh Khan’s last movie was Aanand L Rai’s Zero which was conked out at the box-office. Post the movie, Khan has not officially announced any of his upcoming projects.
