When it comes to fame, Bollywood’s three Khans – Shahrukh, Salman Khan, and Aamir have ruled the film industry for a while now. These three superstars have done a commendable work till date and have a massive fan following globally. These three have turned into producers and even host TV shows, moving ahead from just acting in films.
But times change and spares nobody. Since the last few years that have passed by, there is a lot of new talent that has landed in the film industry and their films too have worked well at the box office.
Meanwhile, at present, unlike the past, fame has failed to make money on box office and content ruled. These three khans also are a part of this ruling. All these khans have given some films that despite a lot of promotions and heavy funding had a box-office nose dive.
So, can we interpret it like this that their fans are finally moving past their obsession with the three Khans?
In a recent interview to Filmfare, Salman opened up about the fear of losing his stardom. Below are his words…
“Stardom will fade eventually. It’s a huge task to keep it going for such a long time”
He further added, “I guess Shah Rukh, Aamir, Akki, Ajay…we’re the only ones who have been able to pull it off for such a long time. We’ll try our best to keep it going for another few years.”
“Just like in the case of all superstars, the box-office collection will come down to eight to ten percent. But it hasn’t started yet.”
Meanwhile, when it comes to Salman’s upcoming releases, he will be next seen in Prabhu Deva’s ‘Dabangg 3‘ opposite Sonakshi Sinha. And he is fixing his body with gym workouts for his role in Dabangg 3. Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep will be playing the main antagonist in the flick.
