Netizens SLAM Salman Khan For Attacking Priyanka Chopra For Leaving Bharat

As his Bharat’s release date nears, instead of talking something interesting about its cast be it Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and others, Salman Khan seems to be hung up on Priyanka Chopra Jonas who left the project in an unprofessional way i.e. first, she herself requested the role and then left for her off-shore wedding, just when the project was to enter the production stage and all that in the absence of any correspondence with the filmmakers who gave her the opportunity on her first request only.

This time while at a F2F with Bollywood Hungama, Salman shared,

“She (Priyanka Chopra), over Bharat, did choose USA in the nick of time. She has worked hard all her life, okay? And when she got the biggest film of her life, she dumped that film and got married. You know, HATS OFF! Usually, people leave their husbands for films like these.”

But as we have been reporting in the past and you must have also read from other sources too that this isn’t the first time, PCJ was her aim. Social media is not at all happy with Salman’s unending obsession to take constant jibes at her. And they slammed Salman for the same obsession. Below are some of the social media reactions:

Salman Khan Katrina Kaif Bharat

Saumya Bansal @saumyabansal5 “@BeingSalmanKhan On one side you say Kat was your first choice for #Bharat but now you clearly don’t seem to be taking #PriyankaChopra ‘s rejection that well. Really glad she left the film and chose the man of her dreams over the ones full of toxic masculinity.”

Abbas shaikh@Abbasshaikh42 “@BeingSalmanKhan’s comments over @priyankachopra Choosing to get married instead of working on #bharat is appaling. That is her choice to make. This seems extremly degrading to the eyes of an average citizen and the remarks were absolutely uncalled for.”

Time and again, it has been proven that overdoing something rids the best out of it. And if Salman continues like this then both his image of being open-hearted and Bharat’s business prospects at silver screen may suffer, as more than enough controversies are not good for a movie.

Salman should forget the past and move on for good. What do you think?
