Rhea Chakraborty Files a Complaint Against Her Neighbor: Actress Rhea Chakraborty who was accused in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case, has filed a written complaint against her neighbor Dimple Thawani with the CBI. Rhea has demanded action against her neighbor in this complaint.
Dimple Thawani had said in a statement to the media that she had seen Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant together the night before Sushant’s death. There was a lot of news based on her statement and there was a discussion whether Rhea Chakraborty met Sushant a day before his death. Rhea has objected to this statement, saying that her neighbor Dimple gave misleading information in the media. She said that Dimple tried to deviate the direction of the investigation and her allegations are false. In this case, when she tried to contact Thawani, she could not talk to her.
In the letter, Rhea has sought action under sections 203 (misrepresentation of an alleged crime) and 211 (false charge of crime) of the Indian Penal Code. She has also expressed her displeasure over the news channel in this letter, saying, the channel has spread lies by telling questions asked by the CBI without any basis. Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court last week.
Claiming that Dimple Thawani had lied to the electronic media, Satish Maneshinde (Rhea’s lawyer) requested the CBI to take legal proceedings against “those who mislead the investigation”.
Satish Maneshinde said:
We will start going after people who defamed and tried to destroy her (Rhea) life…for a 2-minute glory on electronic media carrying fake news. One such person was Dimple who claims she is an SSR fan, and believes she is his soulmate due to a past life connection. She claims that someone told her that SSR dropped Rhea home on the 13th.
Rhea’s mother Sandhya also said something on this:
We know this neighbour. She was a huge fan of Sushant’s who came over to our place to meet him once. Why she’d say something like this without proof is beyond me. One just has to look at Sushant or Rhea’s cellular location to know this whole thing is just another lie.
