Ranveer Singh Needed A Siddhant Chaturvedi Push At Filmfare Awards

A video has surfaced on social media where one can see Siddhant Chaturvedi pushing Ranveer Singh to go and collect the latter’s Filmfare Award and calling the video ‘cheer faad’.

Gully Boy male lead Ranveer Singh posted a video on social media showing some of his moments from Filmfare Awards 2020 and amongst them, there was one moment when his ‘Gully Boy‘ co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi pushed him to go and collect the award.

Two days after the Filmfare Awards were aired, Ranveer Singh shared a video with his fans that highlighted his best moments from the show. In this video, Ranveer was also pushed to collect the Filmfare Award. His ‘Gully Boy’ co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi was the person who gave Ranveer that much needed push.

Talking more about this video. One can see Ranveer bonding with both Vicky Kaushal and Siddhant in it. There came one moment when Siddhant held Ranveer Singh’s back as the winner of ‘Best Actor In A Supporting Lead – Male’ was being announced. Immediately after Ranveer was picked up as the winner of the award, Siddhant pushed Ranveer to go and collect his award.

It is an interesting fact that to know that after Ranveer shared the video, Siddhant also commented ‘cheer faad’. ‘Gully Boy’ marked Siddhant’s debut in the film industry. He also won the Filmfare Award for best actor in a supporting role (male) at the same ceremony.

‘Gully Boy’ won maximum (as many as 13 awards) at Filmfare 2020. Zoya Akhtar won best director and best film (critics) while Ranveer Singh bagged best actor in a leading role (male) whilst the female lead Alia Bhatt also won best actor in a leading role (female).

The movie also got the best music award in sharing with ‘Kabir Singh’. ‘Apna Time Aayega’ for best lyrics. Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti bagged award for best screenplay for ‘Gully Boy’ too.
