These are the sequence of events. Ranveer Singh was late by 40 minutes at the recently held ‘Sooryavanshi’ trailer launch. As a result, his co-stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, and Karan Johar had to wait for him in order to kickstart the event. But Akshay, who is very punctual whether it is personal or professional life, punished Ranveer for his behavior in front of the media.

Akshay made Ranveer do down sit-ups whilst holding his ears. He did so once and was later held by Akshay from the waist in a friendly gesture. Akshay then touched Ranveer’s shoulder and pulled him towards himself, answering questions alongside.

Have a look at this funny video:

On entering the venue too, Ranveer went ahead and immediately gave Rohit Shetty a big hug. On the other hand, seeing that, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Katrina Kaif were clapping. Karan Johar was a mute spectator to all these happenings. Ranveer did sit-ups even then. He even bowed down to everyone leaving Katrina. Katrina gave him a side hug.

Ranveer then folded his hands towards the camera. He spoke to Akshay and tried to explain the delay in his arrival. Ajay, who was having his coffee, also intervened. Ranveer then by mistake entered the washroom before heading towards the launch.

Here’s that video:

Ranveer Singh will be seen in ‘Sooryavanshi’ reprising his role of ‘Simmba’. Ajay Devgn is also back as ‘Singham’ in Rohit Shetty’s 3rd cop universe installment ‘Sooryavanshi’. The movie stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as the lead couple.
