Priyanka Chopra Trolled For Wearing Khaki Shorts, Memes Go Viral

Last week, Priyanka Chopra Jonas unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds, London. At the same time, she celebrated her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra’s birthday accompanied by her Hubby Nick Jonas and her extended family from hubby’s side.

But as we all know, being a celebrity costs and you are always in people’s eyes looking for something to point a finger at. So this time, PeeCee who wore ‘khaki’ shorts at the event was subjected to memes on Twitter. All this happened because she was dressed in a black top teamed with a jacket and ‘khaki’ shorts and that reminded social media of old RSS (Rashtriya Seva Sangha) uniform.

So, netizens as expected began their work. Soon the net was flooded with memes. What is more interesting is that this isn’t the first time that PCJ has been made a scapegoat by netizens for having online fun. Back during Met Gala 2019, both the outfit and the look of hers had triggered a similar meme fest on Twitter. And this is just a repeat event.

Madhuri Dixit Nene once wore a dress in repeat in public and just that little repetition triggered rumors in the media that she is facing financial problems. Coming back to Priyanka, have a look at some of the best memes made on here:

Meanwhile, on the work front, PeeCee has wrapped up the shoot of her comeback Bollywood movie, The Sky Is Pink. Where she will share screen space with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Waseem in Shonali Bose’s directorial. As we have reported a few days back, The Sky Is Pink is a real-life Biopic based on Aisha Chaudhary a cancer patient turned Motivational Speaker’s life.

After she completed the movie’s shooting, PeeCee shared a heartfelt note for her team, which read,

“And it’s a wrap. This movie is special to me on so many levels. Not just because Siddharth Roy Kapur and RSVP movies (Sid and Ronnie) partnered with me on my first Hindi production.. but also took the chance on me to bring to life a character and a true story that needed to be told. Farhan Akhtar you made an amazing co-actor all over again with all the laughter and fun! (you were missed tonight) and my amazing Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf who I’ve made friends for life with! This was the hardest loveliest experience. Thank you, Shonali Bose, for your incredibly unique vision. I’m so proud of your faith in me. Thank you so much to Our crew who worked tirelessly for 10 months to make this special piece of cinema. I love you all. See u at the pictures!!!”

The Sky Is Pink will make a silver screen debut on October 11, 2019.
