Is Priyanka Chopra Jonas Done With Bollywood

Ever since Priyanka Chopra Jonas left Salman Khan’s Bharat, her fans can’t stop wondering about PeeCee’s work front. As of now, she has only one Bollywood film in her kitty, The Sky Is Pink, which is her home production. The film has a cast that includes Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles and is helmed by Shonali Bose.

But what after that, i.e. there’s no news or rumor of any kind that tells us that she has more upcoming projects in Bollywood.

Someone close to her was quoted as saying,

“She has given what she can to Bollywood. Her last assignment in India is The Sky Is Pink where she plays a mother to Zaira Wasim. To play mom to an adult actress is a suicidal move in Bollywood! But the PC is different.”

In the past, there were rumors that after she & Nick tied the knot, both might work together to up her musical career. But a source close to her has completely denied the happening of anything of this kind.

This source shared with Deccan Chronicle,

“Nick is obligated to create music and songs only with his brothers, Joe and Kevin. It is unlikely that he would collaborate with his wife for any musical assignment.”

There has been no update on any kind of home production project from Priyanka Chopra. The news came in the past, that she was making up her mind to produce a biopic on Ma Sheela. But, sadly we have no update about that too.

Talking about The Sky Is Pink, the film is slated to hit the theatres on October 11, 2019. This film has something interesting about it. It would be the only Asian flick that will get an opportunity to premiere itself at the 44th Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2019.

Maybe Priyanka’s long absence from India is feeding all these rumors.
