The trailer of the upcoming movie ‘Sadak 2’ which stars Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Makarand Deshpande was released on August 12, 2020 and got instantly rejected. The trailer has gone to become the most disliked trailer on the internet.
The reason it is being rejected is because it seems to them a product of ‘nepotism’. This topic began after the Bhatts (Mahesh Bhatt & Alia Bhatt) were called out by Indian actress Kangana Ranaut soon after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s allegedly committed suicide. Kangana alleged the Bhatts of running a movie mafia.
Both Mahesh Bhatt & Alia Bhatt reverted back with cryptic messages and Pooja Bhatt, who was a part of ‘Sadak’ & will now be seen in a cameo in ‘Sadak 2’, received backlash for her surname. Pooja Bhatt too had responded to the hate.
She responded to the dislikes received towards ‘Sadak 2’ trailer by taking it to Twitter, she wrote,
Hate.Debate.Malign.Lie. Boy’coot’. Scoot. Unfriend.Trend. Over the top? Why not? Gotta do what it takes to be host with the most with a hot bot!
‘Sadak 2’ has come under scrutiny even more because it was the first film rated on the ‘nepometer’ which was started by Sushant Singh Rajput’s brother-in-law Vishal Kirti’s brother Mayuresh Krishna. The film hot a score of 98 percent on nepotism.
This is what the handle’s tweet said:
#Sadak2 is 98% Nepotistic. We rated it based on 5 categories, Producer, Lead Artists, Supporting Artists, Director & Writer. 4 out of 5 categories have Bollywood Family members. When #nepometer is high it’s time to #boycottbollywood..Will you watch this movie? Tell us in comments.
Take a look at the actual tweet:
