Parineeti Chopra Regrets Not Doing Deepika Padukone’s ‘Piku’, Calls it Her Loss

Deepika Padukone’s performance in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku co-starring Big B and Irrfan Khan was quite appreciated by everyone and is considered to be one of her finest performances till the date. But do you know that she wasn’t the first choice for this role. During a recent visit to Neha Dhupia at her chat show, accompanied by her Bestie And Ace Tennis Player Sania Mirza. Parineeti Chopra revealed that she could have been a part of this Shoojit Sircar’s directorial.

Parineeti Chopra considers it her loss, that she didn’t do Piku. When Neha asked for details, Parineeti shared,

“I didn’t really turn down the film… there was confusion. I was going to do another film at the same time and then that film also didn’t happen, so it was my loss.”

When PC was asked to name one B-town actor who needs a shrink, she took her time to deep think and then mentioned Deepika’s hubby i.e. Ranveer Singh. To avoid landing in any controversy, she further added,

“It’s just for fun. He is not mad or anything, but he is crazy in a good way.”

Parineeti also turned Love Guru For Her Co-stars Aditya Roy Kapur & Sidharth Malhotra. Her advice was,

“I think both of them are not really in the space to commit right now so they should continue what they’re doing and when they’re ready, they should only have a permanent girlfriend. I know them, and I speak to them about these things.”

She further said to both of them,

“I would say this to Sid and Adi also, do it when you’re ready. Don’t do it just because everybody else is.”

When she was asked a bit of advice for Arjun Kapoor who has been dating Malaika Arora for a while now. And their wedding rumors are also so old that they are less often mentioned in public. Parineeti took a safe stand and said

“I cannot tell Arjun anything. Woh apni life ka malik hai. Wo jo karta hai, he does it when he wants to do it.”
