Paras Chhabra talks about ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ shut down owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Paras has finally opened up about his working experience on Colors’ reality show, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.
Reality TV-Show: Mujhse Shaadi Karoge featuring Bigg Boss 13 finalists Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill ended abruptly because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the country that has caused almost all shooting schedules on Indian mainland to go for a sudden shutdown. After the show’s unexpected end, contestant Paras has now opened up about his experience working on Colors’ reality show.
Talking to Pinkvilla, Paras candidly spoke about how he did not enjoy being a part of the show. These were his words,
“I am not enjoying doing the show. Firstly, I don’t think there is any reason for Shehbaaz to be there inside the house. Shehbaaz has come to vet guys for his sister (Shehnaaz Gill, a second celebrity contestant on the show) but he is playing his own game inside, making his topics and manipulating people. He is telling people that I don’t respect women. When did I not respect women?.”
When Paras was asked whether he has found his soulmate on the show, he said,
“I haven’t fallen in love or been attracted per se to anyone. There is this girl called Navdeesh, she is on my priority list, so people are targeting her. I am not liking the attitude of the girls inside. Some say they are ‘tapori’ and I am like, then what are you doing here? Which I am not happy about.”
On him disrespecting women, Paras shared that it was not him but Shehnaaz, who was rude to other women.
“If you speak about disrespecting, Shehnaaz has disrespected all the women inside the BB house, be it Shefali, Rashami, Mahira, everyone and now here she is talking about character when no one questioned her character.”
For the uninitiated, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge is a dating reality show on which Paras and Shehnaaz were allowed to choose their life partners. The show, however, failed to strike a chord with the audience.
