‘Pagalpanti’ Trailer: John Abraham Undergoes A Transformation From A Comic To Action Hero In A Troubled Filled Life

After you have a look at the newly released trailer of Pagalpanti, you will clearly understand that it is a John Abraham, Arshad Warsi and Pulkit Samrat vs Anil Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla flick.

John Abraham who’s industry popular for his action flicks has tried his hand at comedy many-a-times and did a fair job. But despite getting a substantial amount of screen space in the Pagalpanti trailer, his look in the film is still a big disappointment. He shines yet again when it is time for some action.

John who is introduced as a geek is having a troublesome on-screen life. ‘Shani iski god mein aakar baitha hai’ goes the dialogue & that raises audience expectations for what comes next. But his not-so-macho look, even though refreshing, does not really help the trailer.

John who’s doing his job in Pagalpanti accompanied by Arshad Warsi and Pulkit Samrat, is stuck in a situation. This gang of 3 goes from being helpless to become as brave as lions.

On the other hand, the reverse happens to Anil Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla, who are introduced as don relatives. This reminds you of a flick from the past. You’re sure to get that feeling quite often during the trailer.

While Anil Kapoor’s character reminds us of Majnu bhai from Welcome, Arshad Warsi appears to be in Golmaal mode. This triad seems to relive All The Best & Housefull moments from time-to-time. Saurabh Shukla is reminding us of his role in Main Tera Hero, while Urvashi Rautela has left us confused about whether she wants to repeat her Great Grand Masti character.

Have a look at the trailer for yourself and decide:

Helmed by Anees Bazmee of Welcome, No Entry & Singh Is Kinng fame, the movie also stars Kriti Kharbanda & Ileana D’Cruz in a pivotal role. Ileana is giving a Bollywood appearance after a long time, post her rumored breakup. Pagalpanti is slated to release on November 22, 2019.
