A special screening of an upcoming Bollywood movie, Notebook turned into a Khan family affair. All credits to Salman Khan, Alvira, Atul Agnihotri, and others.
Salman Khan was joined by father Salim Khan, sister Alvira, Brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and others while he was enjoying the special screening of Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal’s Notebook. Produced by Salman’s Home Production, Notebook is scheduled for this weekend’s release. And it also marks the Bollywood Debut of Pranutan Behl and Zaheer Iqbal. The latter is one of Salman Khan’s friend’s son. Along with his family members, Bollywood stars Sonakshi Sinha and Varun Sharma too came to support the debutants.
Prior to Pranutan and Zaheer, Salman launched five faces into the industry. This includes brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, Warina Hussain, Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, and Daisy Shah. Salman has been making plans to launch his bodyguard Shera’s son, Tiger in Bollywood as an actor. He has invited a lot of criticism in the past for launching only friends and family and answering to all these critics, he said that only when he is confident and assured about the boy’s calibre in mention, he makes an investment or recommendation.
Commenting on the Notebook, Salman told that when he heard the story, he was confident of its Box-Office success. He had this story for a while now and was to play the male lead, but that couldn’t happen as his image changed with time. As it happened in case of Hero, which was first offered to him by Subhash Ghai, but Salman wanted to do Hero and Sooraj Pancholi was cast in Hero in the end. He stated that it is not the situation where he rejected a bunch of scripts but the situation is otherwise i.e. there has been a lot of films that he wished to a be part of but couldn’t be because of situations which were beyond their control.
