Bollywood actors often face the biggest trait of their stardom, mobbing when they step out in public. Many a time, they come across their crazy fans who tend to cross their limits and the same thing happened with Nawazuddin Siddiqui when he was shooting for his upcoming film.
While shooting for a film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui came across a psycho fan, who literally held the actor by his neck just to try to click a selfie with him. This happened on the sets of Raat Akeli Hai, which is directed by the debut director Honey Trehan. Siddiqui is presently shooting in Kanpur for his film, in which he is playing the role of an Uttar Pradesh Police Officer.
The filmmakers along with the cast and crew were initially at the Lala Lajpat Rai (LLR) Hospital in the Swaroop Nagar area till Friday for a shoot. On the next day, the whole crew of the film along with the actor headed to Bithoor, to shoot some more scenes that were left. Everything was going accordingly and went on smooth till then, but on the next day, Sunday when the team went ahead to Kotwali, a shocking incident took place.
While Nawaz was busy shooting his scenes, a huge crowd turned up on the location of the shoot to watch the actor shooting and click some pictures with him. Exactly after the shoot, when the actor had to leave the location, he was crowed over by a lot of fans and bouncers and police was continuously trying to get the actor safely to his car, but one of his fans carried out a scary stunt. Despite tight security, a guy who wanted to click a selfie with Nawaz managed to skirt the bouncers and security guys surrounding and ran up to him, wrapped his arm around his neck, dragged him back to click a selfie with him on his phone.

This incident obviously scared the actor and everyone present there. Nevertheless, the police officials were impulsive to act and they immediately rushed to save Nawazuddin and grabbed the guy to took him away from the location.
In Raat Akeli Hai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is playing the role of an Uttar Pradesh Police official and will be seen investigation a murder case which took place in the rural parts of the country. It stars actor-director Tigmanshu Dhulia playing a Senior Superintendent of Police. The movie also features Radhika Apte opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actors shared the screen last in a super hit web series ‘Sacred Games’, which aired on Netflix. They have previously worked in Badlapur together though weren’t paired together. The duo was also seen in Manjhi: the Mountain Man.
Nawaz was last seen in Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray’s biopic Thackeray. Nawaz played the lead role in the film alongside Amrita Rao, who portrayed Thackeray’s wife Meenatai Thackeray.
