We are here for you with the early Box Office estimates of Sidharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshmukh starrer Marjaavaan & Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Athiya Shetty starrer: Motichoor Chaknachoor. The results are surprising.
Marjaavaan with an ensemble cast that includes names like Sidharth Malhotra, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria managed to get some success on its box office premiere day. It had an impressive box office revenue collection.
On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Athiya Shetty starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor that also made its box office debut alongside was a big disappointment. To the audience’s rescue, Hollywood releases Ford V Ferrari and Charlie’s Angels had an impressive performance.
Below are some details….
Marjaavaan Had A Decent Start
This Sidharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshmukh starrer Marjaavaan had a decent start as it opened well in mass centres. It collected around 20-25%. Marjaavaan’s strongholds are Nizam, CP Berar, Maharashtra and Gujarat. And there are expectations of the flick performing better in UP and East, too.
Talking About Motichoor Chaknachoor
This Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starrer had a very poor opening. It is in no way a match for Marjaavaan at the box office seeing the box office figures at the premiere day. It seems to be struggling even on its Day 1 at the box office.
So, going by these details, one can arrive at the decision that one can expect for Marjaavaan to go beyond a week at the theatre. But unfortunately, the same thing isn’t possible for Motichoor Chaknachoor.
Nawaz won’t be the 1st actor with a proven talent who disappointed the box office audience. These are the times when the unexpected happens. Last year all the 3 Khans from Bollywood i.e. Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan had big failures at their hands irrespective of their big fan base and big budget of the flick.
But as we have reported that surprisingly, Nawaz doesn’t take criticism in a good context. So, we would expect him to be ready for a lot of criticism from both the box office audience and his fans who spent their hard-earned money to watch Motichoor Chaknachoor, but to no avail.
