Film maker Mohit Suri came out forward by himself and shared that both the actors i.e. John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur have liked their allocated part and would be playing the “villains” in the story.
Aditya Roy Kapur has had quite a nice beginning when it comes Year 2020. He looked both happy and excited for the time coming ahead during Mohit Suri’s Malang trailer launch that was held a few days back.
Malang’s trailer ever since it went live on social media has earned appreciation both from fans and critics and Aditya’s beefed-up look and chemistry with Disha Patani has become the talk of the town.
Leaving Malang behind, Aditya is grabbing headline for his next project Ek Villain 2 in which he would be collaborating with John Abraham for the very 1st time.
Ek Villain 2 will mark the 3rd collaboration between Aditya and Mohit post Malang. Both of them previously worked together in Aashiqui 2 which was Aditya’s debut film.
Talking about Ek Villain 2, Mohit, shared in an interview some details about the film and said that both Ekta Kapoor and he were looking to create a whole franchise on villains.
These were his words,
“It’s essentially a villain versus villain. Both Adi and John are playing negative characters. We are going to push the bar further with Ek Villain 2. I believe sequels should work as independent films, too.”
When it came to the female lead of film. Mohit said,
“There are two girls in the film. One of them is pretty much a villain as well. It’s a Gone Girl-ish zone and I have to get casting right.”
The 1st part of the film, Ek Villain featured Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Mohit Suri works both in the capacity of a producer and a director.
