But as the time passed by, Bachelor in the past: Emraan Hashmi moved towards movies that were content driven and so he has gotten rid of this adult image.

But Mallika is very much operating in the same territory. This could be attributed to her script choice in the beginning or the mindset of B-Town filmmakers who does not consider her worth the movies that focus on her talent rather than her body.

During a recent visit to Kapil Sharma Show, Mallika Sherawat revealed something that is both disgusting and tells how even in this era Bollywood is not short of ill-minded filmmakers.

She said that once a producer had asked her to fry eggs on her belly to portray hotness. She added that this made her refuse to shoot the sequence. She didn’t reveal the producer’s name for obvious reasons as that could have meant her end of the career. Taking an idea from the thought that how #Metoo movement fell flat in India.

Meanwhile, on the current projects that she has in hand. She will be next seen in ALTBalaji’s horror comedy “Booo… Sabki Phategi”, directed by Farhad Samji. She revealed to a media agency, that producer: Ekta Kapoor was the very reason that she said yes to the project.

These were her words, “I relate to her a lot on so many levels – as a single woman, as a member of Bollywood. It’s very patriarchal. I can imagine how difficult it must’ve been for her to reach where she is today. She always stuck to her ground.”

She also shared,

“I lost film projects because they thought I was opinionated. I would hear from heroes ‘don’t cast her she speaks a lot and has a lot of opinions.’ They would prefer their girlfriends instead of me in projects.”

“I can list at least 20-30 movies that I’ve lost. But it didn’t make me bitter. It was my gradual evolution. Now when I look back, they look like fools, all of them.”
